Aruba Travel Guide: Catamaran Sunset Sail

On our recent trip to Aruba, we were there to celebrate our friend’s birthday and guests on a lot of fun ways to enjoy the island. Our hosts planned the perfect retreat and on our Aruba travel guide, I wanted to highlight and share with you the private happy hour sunset sail we went on with Octopus Aruba. As a guest, I didn’t participate in setting this activity up, so I can’t rate the full experience but the website is very user friendly and the event itself—the sunset cruise—was excellent.

We began the evening by meeting with the Octopus Aruba crew at the Octopus Aruba beach hut (located on Palm beach). We boarded tenders in groups of two and headed from the shore to the catamaran. My wife and I decided to enjoy the ride relaxing on the catamaran trampolines where we could lounge and enjoy an unobstructed view. The crew were both professional and fun. They served an open bar and fresh light appetizers throughout the ride. The waters were calm and the views of the coastline and sunset stunning.

When you head over to Octopus Aruba’s website, you’ll find that in addition to the catamaran sunset cruise they offer a variety of charters and rentals to enjoy at sea.
