Following a stunning morning hike up the mountain and to the Griffith Observatory to take in the views of Los Angeles, we decided to stop into Erewhon—Silverlake location— to refresh with their popular smoothies and stock up on some food and beverage for our suite during our stay in L.A. Erewhon smoothies are popular for their use of high-quality, organic ingredients and unique flavor combinations that emphasize wellness and nutrition. Their celebrity endorsements and trend-setting, health-conscious offerings have also contributed to their cult-like following. We ordered the Malibu Mango and the Maca Bomb.

A tropical delight, the Malibu Mango smoothie combines organic mango, pineapple, and banana with a touch of vanilla collagen for a nourishing treat. The creamy coconut flakes and coconut cream balance the tangy orange juice, while Lion's Mane and pitaya offer a boost of wellness benefits. The Maca Bomb Smoothie is a nutrient-packed blend of almond milk, hemp seeds, maca, mesquite, lucuma, cacao nibs, goji berries, almonds, dates, and toffee stevia, delivering a burst of superfood energy. This creamy, organic smoothie is both vegan and gluten-free, offering a delicious and health-conscious treat.

In addition to the smoothies we enjoyed the spicy tuna roll and purchased organic natural wine, oat milk, organic coffee, organic strawberries, and vegan gummy bears to enjoy during our stay. Erewhon is a beautiful gourmet natural foods store. While it isn’t cheap, we found the prices reasonable for a gourmet shop offering beautifully stacked and curated fruits and vegetables and tasty ready made foods.
