My real estate related work has taken me to Westhampton Beach a few times lately and each time I’ve been eager to try a meal at Flora Westhampton Beach on the recommendation our good friends. Situated on the corner of Westhampton Beach’s idyllic Main Street, Flora has an intimate, airy, beachy, and welcoming vibe as you enter. With bar seating, high top tables, and low top tables available, you’ll have your pick of the type of seating you prefer. We choose a high top table next to large windows looking to Main Street and a good overview of the bar and restaurant. The detail in napkins, glassware, and the pretty floral prints on the plates all tie into the beach chic setting.

I ordered an iced tea and my wife enjoyed sipping a lavender fizz. She said it was the perfect salad and fries spot (a favorite lunch for her and her sister). The french fries were tasty as were the soup and salad which I sampled. For my main I had the beet club. It was tasty but has some stiff competition with the beet Rueben at Carissa’s in East Hampton and Sag Harbor. Overall this was a tasty meal in a great setting and I look forward to enjoying more meals at Flora.
