Hamptons Guide: Wölffer Estate Vineyards
Wölffer Estate Vineyards | 139 Sagg Rd, Sagaponack, NY 11962
Here we are in September and in the Hamptons you can definitely feel the shift from summer to fall. The full transition over here really happens after the Labor Day weekend. Today I wanted to share a new post with you for our Hamptons Guide with a little trip to Wölffer Estate Vineyards. I’ve taken you to Wolffer Wine Stand which is a really fun summer experience. As the weather cools it’s nice to visit the terrace and tasting rooms of Wölffer Estate Vineyards.
When planning your visit to Wölffer Estate Vineyards you’ll need to make a reservation in advance. They book up fast and with the COVID-19 safety restrictions the number of open spots is limited. When you arrive you’ll be required to wear a mask anytime you are not seated at your table. I recommend keeping your mask on when you order/interact with your server for their safety and yours. The space is light and airy with open doors and windows with a small amount of guests spread far apart. Of course, if you book the terrace, you’ll be sitting in the open air.
In addition to enjoying Wölffer Estate wines, you’ll find that the menu has a variety of small plates. Charcuterie boards and other tapas are on offer.
Be sure to enjoy a walk around the estate before or after your wine experience. The grounds are beautiful and you get a peek at what is going into your glass before it’s transformed into wine.
I am looking forward to exploring more of the autumn activities in the Hamptons and sharing with you. Let me know in the comments below if there’s anything in the area you’d like to know more about.
