Knife Lesson

Knowing how to expertly—and safely— slice and dice is one of the key components for becoming a master in the kitchen. I created this knife lesson to be useful to chefs just beginning their careers as well as for anyone who enjoys cooking. My knife lesson is for anyone who wants to take their skills in the kitchen to the next level. All you’ll need to practice is a cutting board, a sharpened knife—I like Miyabi or Shun but there are a lot of great knife brands for you to choose from—and for today’s lesson we’ll practice cutting with an onion.
