Marrakech Guide: Riding Camels

When in the desert, you’ve got to ride a camel, right? Riding camels was a first for all of us and a really fun experience. On our way to tour the Atlas Mountains, we stopped to ride camels. We were first taken to a tent to be dressed in our camel riding garb. There were two camels available so of course we let Jack have his moment to ride solo and he really enjoyed it. I loved long eye lashes of the camels and thought that their faces really resembled a larger scale of the bunnies that visit our yard at home. You’ve got to hang on tight when they stand and sit, their legs are rising to and descending from quite the length.

Our camel stretched its neck back a lot. The flexibility! Jack was a natural.
