NYC Guide: Cookshop

Cookshop

ADDRESS | 156 10th Ave. New York, NY 10011

When we first started dating, my wife and I were living in Chelsea and one of our favorite neighborhood brunch spots quickly became the Cookshop. This past holiday weekend, we decided to enjoy a family meal there with our son and niece before they both headed to the airport.

The Cookshop’s light and airy space with both indoor and outdoor seating is definitely a draw especially on sunny spring days. The food and ambiance make the Cookshop a great spot for a casual brunch or a special get together. The menu is farm to table and offers classic American favorites like burgers, and biscuits. Below are a few of the menu items we ordered on our last visit—and maybe tend to order every time!

My son ordered a burger with a fried egg and fries. It was also a dish well done and enjoyable. The menu changes, in the past we’ve had great French toast and pancakes and I’ve enjoyed every dish we’ve had here. So New Yorkers and visitors of NYC, be sure to include Cookshop a time or two for your weekend brunch plans for a delicious farm to table meal.
