While in Tulum of course we needed a beach day and Hotel Bardo arranged our visit to The Panamera Beach Club. This beach club is part of the trendy Hotel Panamera in Tulum, located along the Tulum-Boca Paila Road at KM 8.5. Known for its distinctive aesthetic, it features a striking red-and-white checkered pool.

At the beach club, you can relax by the ocean on their luxury day beds with optional shade from the beach umbrellas. Towels are of course provided making it an easy day at the beach without having to worry about bringing all the extras. Of course, lounge side service for food and beverages is a part of the set up. There are spend requirements depending on what amenities you plan to enjoy, but they are likely within the range of what you would spend for several hours at the beach and you can expect the minimum to be around $50 USD per person.

Once we settled into our day bed and ordered some beachside beverages we started the day with a long walk along the beach. The soft, powdery beaches, renowned for their natural beauty, feel almost untouched and provide a perfect contrast to the vibrant colors of the sea. Tulum’s beaches are lined with lush palm trees, offering a serene backdrop, creating a tranquil escape that feels like a slice of paradise. As the sun emerged we decided to take a dip in the water. Swimming in the Caribbean ocean in Tulum is an unforgettable experience, surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise waters that gently lap against pristine white sand. The warm Caribbean waters are calm and inviting, making it ideal for a leisurely swim. DISTRITO PANAMERA RESTAURANT

For lunch we decided to dine at the restaurant rather than beachside. The restaurant and bar are an open layout with a view to the kitchen and wood fired oven as well as a view overlooking the beach and near the DJ stand creating a relaxing ambiance. We started with a glass of wine, perfectly chilled to complement the tropical atmosphere. The meal began with French fries elevated by the luxurious flavors of truffle oil, parmesan cheese, and freshly chopped chives—a savory and indulgent snack.

Next, we savored the Shrimp Pizza, a delicious combination of tangy Pomodoro sauce, melted mozzarella, succulent shrimp, and a sprinkle of chives, all baked to perfection. The Distrito Salad was a refreshing counterpart, featuring crisp cucumber, creamy feta cheese, fragrant basil, peppery baby arugula, and ripe avocado, all lightly dressed with a zesty lime vinaigrette. The mix of textures and flavors created a balanced, satisfying meal against the backdrop of the chic, beachfront setting. The experience combined fresh ingredients with thoughtful preparation, showcasing Tulum's relaxed yet sophisticated dining culture.

Spending the day at Panamera Beach Club was the epitome of a perfect Tulum beach escape. The luxurious beach beds offered a plush and comfortable setting, ideal for lounging in the warm Caribbean sun while enjoying the serene view of turquoise waves gently meeting the shore. The ambiance combined chic design with natural beauty, creating a space that felt exclusive yet relaxed.
