Aruba Travel Guide: Eduardo's Hideaway and Beach Shack

When deciding where to eat in Aruba, you’ll find that locals and visitors suggest Eduardo’s as a favorite spot for breakfast and lunch. There are two locations, Eduardo’s Beach Shack and Eduardo’s Hideaway which was really close to our vacation house. We ate at both locations and the Hideaway just about every day while we were in Aruba. While the menus are similar, I definitely preferred and recommend the Hideaway. The first and most obvious reason is seating.

With pleasant outdoor and indoor seating, you can enjoy Aruba’s famous breeze while having your meal in a relaxed setting. I’m not a fan of eating on the beach and the beach shack doesn’t offer seating so you’ll be having your meal on the beach or to go. It rained the morning we went to the beach shack so we found covered benches where we could eat. For this reason, I would recommend you hit up Eduardo’s Hideaway. The second reason is that the overall execution of the dishes at the Hideaway were 100% every time whereas the Beach Shack had some misses (see reviews below). That being said, the service at both locations was excellent and I really enjoyed the healthy and innovative meal options.

Now to review the food! We went there a lot so luckily for our readers we tried a lot of the menu items. Overall, the offerings are health-centric, all fresh and natural ingredients.
