Our dentist’s office is located in Hampton Bays, so when we have a morning appointment we love to cap our visit to Hampton Bays off with breakfast at The Hampton Maid. Established in 1959, this family-owned establishment offers a blend of casual luxury and gourmet meals in a serene setting. The restaurant, R.AIRE, features a diverse menu with an emphasis on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Popular for its brunch, the restaurant also serves a variety of international and Spanish-inspired dishes. The Hampton Maid is celebrated not only for its food but also for its commitment to sustainability and local sourcing. The restaurant is part of the hotel which features resort-style rooms, and beautiful landscapes.
Jack’s go-to order is The Hampton Maid Breakfast Platter, which offers a hearty combination of breakfast favorites. It includes pancakes, French toast, a sausage link, bacon, two eggs cooked to your preference, and home-fried potatoes. This generous platter is perfect for those who want to enjoy a classic, well-rounded breakfast with a variety of flavors and textures. The fresh ingredients and careful preparation reflect the restaurant's commitment to quality and taste. Lynette and I enjoy their pipping hot carafes of coffee, mimosas and variety of traditional breakfast options.
