NYC Coffee Guide: Joe Coffee Company

NYC Coffee Guide: Joe Coffee Company

Let us continue our NYC Coffee Guide adventure and head to Joe Coffee Company. Wtih a location nearby to my client’s home, Joe Coffee became an easy spot to meet up with my girlfriend turned wife after work or in between lunch and dinner. We also use it as a rally point before taking off for long weekends out of the city. We don't do road trips unless we're properly armed and caffeinated with two large iced coffees. Tradition.  That makes this a sentimental spot for me to enjoy a cup of coffee at.

Joe Coffee Company is a NYC based group.  Joe has a lot of locations through out NYC which is always a plus when you need a go to good cup.

As I've mentioned, like many New Yorkers my go to cup of coffee is a large drip coffee, black, no sweetener.  Joe Coffee shops give you a smooth and solid cup of joe and that's why I love it.  Also, they do offer matcha beverages which they do pretty well.

As I write my New York Coffee Guide for you all I'm realizing that wherever I go for coffee I tend to put in
the same order.  At Cafe Grumpy it's the oat milk cappuccino, Birch it's the macchiato.  Joe is where I go for my large drip coffee.  And that actually is a testament to how well they do it.

Another thing I'm realizing, most coffee shops should up their food game. Joe offers some good bites (vegan chocolate chip cookies are my favorite) but again nothing I would go out of my way to get.  I think I might have to review Bluestone Lane next because they do have good food.  Fun fact: If you sit at Joe Coffee on the UES long enough you can hear a lot of juicy gossip (that's on my wife’s word ;)).
