EATS: Asian Buffalo Wings
It’s my favorite time of year, football season, and to mark the first game of the season I whipped up some delicious game day eats to enjoy with the family. First up, Asian Buffalo Wings. We’re rooting for the Buffalo Bills tonight so what could make a better game night eat? Of course, I put an Asian twist on these crispy buffalo wings because I like the layers that sesame oil, soy, and some more spices give to this game day favorite. These Asian Buffalo Wings are baked not fried but they have all the crisp you crave in your wings and they’re a little healthier so you can enjoy guilt free.
Asian Buffalo Wings Ingredients
1 pound chicken wings
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon corn starch
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
1 Tablespoon of buffalo sauce
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon of sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon sriracha
1 Tablespoon butter

1/2 teaspoon white sesame seeds
Asian Buffalo Wings Instructions
Using a paper towel, dry the wings. In a medium bowl, toss chicken wings with salt, baking powder, and corn starch
Preheat oven to 450 degrees
Line a baking sheet tray with aluminum foil. Grease the aluminum with avocado oil. Lay the chicken wings out.
Place sheet tray in oven and cook chicken for 20 minutes on each side (cook until wings are golden brown and crispy)
Remove chicken wings from oven and set aside
Place small saucepan over medium high heat. Add BBQ sauce, buffalo sauce, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, butter. Mix well, and then add black sesame seeds, and white sesame seeds.
Remove sauce from heat and place in a large mixing bowl. Add chicken wings and toss well. Serve with a side of ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing and carrots and celery slices. Enjoy game night!
