Cocktails: Aperol Spritz
Summer is sizzling in the Hamptons and we’re back to enjoying the elegant Aperol Spritz. This cocktail is a favorite cocktail of summer and with its citrusy, bubbly combination it’s easy to understand why. The star ingredient of the Aperol spritz is of course, Aperol liqueur. It’s an orange/red colored Italian apéritif, that has a lightly bitter and citrusy taste. Add some prosecco, soda water, and an orange slice and you have an easy, colorful, and refreshing summer cocktail.
Before you begin, you’ll need a wine glass. Elevate your aperol spritz by serving it in a pretty wine glass with an elegant stem like this Veritas 2-Piece Old World Pinot Noir Glass Set—by Riedel for $69.00 at Saks Fifth Avenue
Add a cocktail stirrer like this classic bar spoon for $20.95 at Williams Sonoma and you’re ready to go!
