Eataly Vino &...

Address | 101 Liberty St, New York, NY 10007 (located in Westfield World Trade Center)

Vino &... is a wine bar and restaurant located at Eataly NYC Downtown on the third floor of the 4 World Trade Center. They specialize in celebrating Italian wine culture, offering an extensive selection of wines paired with authentic Italian dishes. After driving from the Hamptons into the city and checking into our hotel for the weekend, we decided to head to Vine &… for lunch. The ambiance is designed for casual yet elegant dining, making it a great spot for enjoying a meal with a focus on expertly curated wine and food pairings.

The restaurant operates daily from 11 AM to 10 PM, and its menu includes classic Italian cuisine like pasta and seasonal specialties, often with a strong emphasis on fresh, high-quality ingredients. It's also an excellent choice for those looking to explore unique wines by the glass or bottle, guided by knowledgeable staff. We started with a classic Negroni and a Bergamot spritz.

On this visit we had the grilled Caesar salad with toasted bread crumbs, Margherita con Burrata pizza, and Spaghetto alla Carbonara e Tartufo. The pasta was delicious, a perfectly cooked housemade spaghetti, coated in a luxurious sauce of farm-fresh eggs and Granarolo Pecorino Romano DOP, lending a creamy and tangy depth. Topped with Urbani black truffle the earthy aroma and subtle flavors, created a truly indulgent bite. The Margherita con Burrata pizza had a nice base of San Marzano tomato sauce topped with mozzarella from Napoli creating a luscious texture. The fresh basil was a bit lacking with just one large leaf on top overall it’s a tasty pizza. For dessert we had the Bomboloni one chocolate and one custard. They were light and airy and the cream to pastry ratio was just right.

For the wine, pizza and pasta lovers looking for a chic laidback vibe, Vino &… is an excellent choice for a meal in the Financial District.
