Los Angeles Guide: Huckleberry Cafe
Address | 1014 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90401
Back when I lived in L.A., Huckleberry Cafe was one of my favorite breakfast spots so on a recent trip I was happy for an early morning beach bike ride followed by introducing my wife to breakfast at Huckleberry Cafe. When placing your order at the counter be prepared to be tempted by the sights and smells of a wide array of fresh baked pastries. All ingredients are locally sourced and organic making every menu option something that you can feel good about eating and supporting.
We were both in a savory mood so we paired our very tasty Mimosas (Mariana Blanc de Blancs Espumante, freshly-squeezed orange juice) with an order of Huevos Rancheros (organic sunny side up eggs, black bean purée, crispy tortilla, salsa roja, feta cheese, red onion, scallions, cilantro) and the Breakfast Burrito (organic scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, cheddar cheese, avocado, salsa roja, Tehachapi flour tortilla served with tortilla chips). Breakfast was as tasty as ever and a great low key spot to hang.
