Waffle Iron Hash Browns Ingredients
3 large russet potatoes, washed, peeled, grated
4 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/4 cup Parmigiano Reggiano, shredded
cooking spray
optional: sauté spinach, strain and add to mixture
Waffle Iron Hash Browns Instructions
preheat waffle iron to 4 setting
press and strain grated potatoes in colander to drain as much liquid as possible
in a medium mixing bowl, combine potatoes, eggs, butter, seasoning, and cheese. Using a rubber spatula, mix well.
spray waffle iron with cooking spray
evenly spread hash brown mixture into the waffle iron.
allow hash browns to cook for 10 to 15 minutes until brown and crisp
