Hamptons Guide: Hampton Coffee Company
I have a few favorite coffee shops in the Hamptons that I’ve been meaning to add to our Hamptons Guide. Today we’ll begin that journey with a local Hamptons favorite, Hampton Coffee Company. There are several locations but two that we frequent, the original Hampton Coffee in Watermill and the Southampton location. We enjoy the Watermill location because in addition to the grab and go service counter, there is also a sit down restaurant with great indoor and outdoor seating where you can enjoy brunch or lunch.
To be honest, the coffee isn’t my favorite (I’ll give full reviews of Sagtown Coffee and Jack’s Stirbrew Coffee down the road but—spoiler alert—those would be my favorites, in that order) it’s good cup but it’s not a great cup. Hampton Coffee Company uses 100% Arabica Beans and roast in small batches so the quality and taste is decent but I find the flavor to be mild and overall a little one dimensional.
We enjoy Hampton Coffee Company more as a casual brunch spot than as our go to coffee source. As I mentioned, the seating is nice and bright. The menu has a lot of good vegetarian options, and you’ll find both sweet and savory choices to satisfy whatever you’re craving. They also have a full bar so can enjoy a mimosa or bloody Mary with your meal. During the high season, it gets packed quickly so be prepared for a bit of wait.
What’s your favorite coffee shop? Let me know in the comments below, and looking forward to sharing more of my favorites in the Hamptons.
