Hamptons Guide: Page at 63 Main

Yesterday my son sat for his final exam of 7th grade and we decided to celebrate the occasion. Serendipitously, a friend reached out suggesting we all meet up for dinner at Page at 63 Main, a Sag Harbor Village establishment. Located on Sag Harbor’s Main Street, this large restaurant boasts indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. It’s a light filled space with windows at the front and back of restaurant. We were seated at an indoor table directly next to the window. The menu offers a wide variety of options pastas, seafood, and some vegan items as well. Overall, the tasty dishes and ambiance make this a great dinner option in the Hamptons.
Not pictured, I ordered the Jumbo Curry Shrimp (japanese sticky rice, julienne of carrot, chayote, red peppers, spinach w/ green curry sauce). Well executed, the shrimp and rice were cooked well, the sauce had a good consistency although it could have used a little more brightness (maybe lime juice and finish with cilantro). Overall, a tasty dish.
Strawberry Spritzer
Since it was our night to celebrate Jack, we had to start with a special mocktail for him. He went with the strawberry spritzer. I didn’t taste it but he ordered more so it passed his test! Garnished with blueberries and strawberries it seemed a nice summer drink.
Dirty Martini
The adults were in the mood for dirty martinis and this classic cocktail was well executed.
Skin Charred Farm Raised Salmon
ancient grain, tri color cauliflower, roasted baby peppers, broccoli rabe w/ kiwi yuzu emulsion
This was a really well rounded and tasty dish. Lynette ordered it medium and it was perfectly delivered. The radish garnish was beautiful but did not add flavor or texture to the dish so was a bit superfluous.
Garganelli Pasta Bolognese
slow cooked beef, veal, lamb, san marzano tomatoes & parmesan
This was another good dish. My son ate it all and it left no room for dessert! The ragu was nice and the consistency of the pasta was great.
Parmesan Truffle Fries
We love a good order of truffle fries. These were well seasoned and crispy on the outside, tender in the middle.
