The Dock House in Sag Harbor is a popular Hamptons seafood restaurant located right on the waterfront in the heart of the village. Recently, we stopped by the Dock House with family spending some summer fun in the Hamptons with us and we tried the shrimp tacos. They were a delicious and refreshing dish, especially perfect for a seaside meal. These tacos feature succulent shrimp, grilled to perfection, and served in soft, warm tortillas. Topped with a generous scoop of fresh mango salsa, the tacos offer a burst of sweetness that complements the savory shrimp. The mango salsa includes ripe mangoes, diced red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice, creating a bright and tangy contrast.
Alongside the shrimp tacos, you’ll find crispy tortilla chips served with creamy guacamole, cool sour cream, and a chipotle dip. The guacamole, made from ripe avocados, lime juice, and perhaps a touch of garlic and cilantro, adds a rich and velvety texture to the meal. The sour cream brings a refreshing coolness, balancing out the flavors and adding a creamy element to each bite.
