The Luxury Collection Hotel Manhattan Midtown, formerly the Conrad New York Midtown, is a five-star hotel offering a refined experience in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Located at 151 West 54th Street, it features 562 elegantly designed suites with luxurious amenities like herringbone wood floors, hand-tufted rugs, and Carrera marble bathrooms. The hotel also boasts a contemporary American restaurant, Dabble, and is within walking distance of iconic attractions such as Central Park and the Museum of Modern Art.
We decided to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary in NYC where we were married and booked The 1 Bedroom King Suite with Park View. While the suite was spacious, elegant, and comfortable, we were a bit disappointed with the view of Central Park being only partial and not reflective of what is shown on the website photos but it wasn’t too much of a bother. The suite features a generous entry hall with bench and full length mirror that leads into a spacious living room with dining table, television, and a Nespresso coffee bar and tea set up. The separate bedroom hosts a king-sized bed that was very comfortable, and elegant décor. The bathroom is outfitted with Carrera marble, adding to the suite's sophisticated ambiance. Amenities such as a large flat-screen TV, high-speed internet, and a large walk-in closet really enhanced the comfort of our stay. The bathroom amenities are Byredo, a luxury fragrance and skincare brand. Guests can enjoy the brand's signature soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion, which are crafted with premium ingredients and feature sophisticated scents, enhancing the overall luxury experience of the stay.

The gym is well-equipped, featuring state-of-the-art fitness machines and free weights, catering to various workout needs. The facility is open 24/7, offering guests the convenience of working out at any time. Additionally, the space is designed with a sleek, modern aesthetic, providing a comfortable environment for both cardio and strength training.
The Luxury Collection Hotel Manhattan Location
One of the best aspects about The Luxury Collection Hotel Manhattan Midtown, is its prime location. We found it was just a short five-minute walk to our favorite coffee spot, The WatchHouse on 5th Avenue. We had an ideal morning starting with croissants and cold brew before a scenic walk through Central Park in the morning hours. Uncharacteristically for mid-August, the weather was sunny yet cool, breezy. The location and weather were so delightful that we found ourselves walking along Central Park to the Upper East Side for a beautiful evening at Dowling's at The Carlyle and the next day we took a walk through Central Park for our anniversary lunch at Tavern on the Green (where we had our anniversary lunch 5 years ago!). Nearby attractions like the Museum of Modern Art and Rockefeller Center add to the charm of this exceptional location.
