My Morning Coffee Routine
Sometimes I fall asleep excited for my morning cup of coffee when I wake up. That’s how much I love coffee. Each morning I do two things. First, I meditate and second, I take the time to brew and enjoy a great cup of coffee. For me, those two things are essential to set up for a great day. I thought it would be fun to share with you my process for the perfect cup of coffee.
I’ll link a few of the items that I use to create my morning coffee routine.
OXO BREW Conical Burr Coffee Grinder with Integrated Scale $224.95
I firmly believe in ordering whole coffee beans and grinding them fresh each morning. The aroma and flavor is fresher and stronger. The Oxo coffee grinder that I use is great because it allows you to set the grams per cup that you prefer, the type of grind, and of course how many cups you’re grinding for.
Bodum Vacuum Coffee Brewer: $72.30
I’ve shared this item with you before. I happened upon it at Williams Sonoma and thought that the design was chic and the concept was cool. I really love the smooth brew that the Bodum coffee brewer creates and of course it’s a great visual in the morning to watch the vacuum brewing process.
Zwilling Sorrento Plus Double Wall Glass Coffee Mug Set: $95.95 (set of 8)
Sey Coffee: Subscribe
During the winter break I wandered into a little shop in Sag Harbor that was serving Sey coffee by the cup. I fell in love immediately and when I got home signed up for a monthly subscription. Their coffees are packed full of flavor and curated from around the world. Recently, I ordered a few other coffee subscriptions and I’ll share with you any great finds.
Oat Milk: (32 oz pack of 6): $21.48
I didn’t include this in the video but I usually drink my coffee with a little splash of unsweetened oat milk. It gives a nice creamy taste without overbearing the coffee.
