Review: Bokksu Japanese Snack Box

I love giving and receiving food inspired gifts and sharing products that I enjoy. My sister gave my family the great gift of a subscription to Bokksu, premium Japanese snack boxes. Right now I’m really into subscriptions because with the pandemic, accessing new food and beverage experiences isn’t as easy as it used to be. Living in NYC I had great access to Japanese markets. Living in Sag Harbor, that access no longer is as readily available so it was nice to have this box of Japanese snacks delivered right to my door.

I really enjoy Bokksu because it comes with a variety of sweet and savory snacks and includes some of my favorite flavors like uni, umeboshi, and sesame. Japanese snacks are also a source of nostalgia for me because I grew up in a Japanese American household and my parents owned a Japanese market when I was a kid.
