We love seeking out and finding excellent coffee shops when we travel and in Portugal, we found Fábrica Coffee Roasters to be our favorite spot for a cold brew or hot americano. Fábrica Coffee Roasters has several locations in Lisbon, Porto, and Cascais. The first location we went to was located across the street from our apartment in Porto. Across the street, and of course up a very steep hill. I ventured across with my wife and mother to sit a sip our morning coffee.

The barista was really helpful in learning about what we enjoy drinking and guided us to roasts that fit our favorite coffee flavor profiles. In addition to our morning coffee we purchased a few bags of beans to brew at the apartment and to bring back with us to New York. We returned to Fábrica Coffee Roasters in Lisbon on another winding walk up and down the slopes of LIsbon’s streets from our apartment to the Time Out Market Lisboa. Again, the coffee was very tasty and the setting was pleasant.
