Atlanta Guide: Wrecking Bar Brewpub

Wrecking Bar Brewpub

Address | 292 Moreland Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307

The Wrecking Bar Brewpub is housed in an old mansion with an inviting outdoor patio seating with twinkle lights hung around creating a warm vibe to enjoy some cold drinks. Wrecking Bar Brewpub beers are brewed onsite, so we decided to share a flight to get a good sample of the local flavors. Included in the flight were Beta Todd Helles Lager, Tampa Timeshare Watermelon Mint Gose, Sauvation Nelson Sauvin Pale Ale, Lederbrosen Festbier, It’s Been A While American Brown Ale, and Blueprint Wet Hop Series #2 Nichole’s Nugget Red IPA. A few favorites definitely stood out from the rest, some I liked a little less, but I recommend ordering the flight to get a good sample of the range of what they brew.

The Wrecking Bar Brewpub offers a full menu with some really tasty looking sandwiches and burgers. We were just stopping off for a snack, so we ordered the Farmhouse Cheese Plate to share. It included Wrecking Bar pickles—to be honest the pickled vegetables definitely needed more salt and fell a little flat—apple butter which was very tasty, toast points, and three cheeses. The Asher Blue, from Sweet Grass Dairy was exceptionally good, and the other cheeses were a nice snack with the beer flight.
