Now, for the reason we’re all here. I love fresh raw oysters. It’s a great appetizer or side dish that’s fresh and easy to prepare. That being said, there are a lot of great ways to prepare oysters and I wanted to explore that and share some recipes with you. Today let’s dive in to oysters casino. This version of baked oysters is so tasty. The buttery crisp panko and fresh herbs, baked on top of the oyster create a really indulgent and tasty bite. Oysters Casino Recipe Ingredients

  • 6 oysters on the half shell

  • 3/4 cup Panko

  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil

  • 3 strips of bacon (or vegan bacon substitute), fried and diced

  • 1/2 shallot, diced

  • 1 Tablespoon butter for saute + 3 Tablespoons for mixture

  • 1 jalapeño diced

  • 1 teaspoon chives, chiffonade

  • 1 teaspoon parsley, chiffonade

  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
